What Product Announcement Maker does and how it behaves

A product announcement graphic has one job: stop the scroll with a product image and one clear phrase. This tool composes that card for you - you supply the announcement text, the product shot, and the colors, and it returns a finished graphic with a short phrase from your headline set off as highlight text and the product shot as the visual anchor. The thing users most often get wrong is text volume: the highlight treatment only works on a short phrase, and product screenshots full of browser chrome or open menus read as noise at card size.

How the result is produced

1

Copy, shot, and color in

You enter the announcement headline, an optional supporting line, the product shot, and the color theme. A short phrase inside the headline - usually the product name or the new feature - is the highlight text and receives the emphasis treatment, while the supporting line stays visually subordinate. The card is composed from exactly these inputs; the tool adds no copy of its own.

2

Highlight text is the hero

The layout is built so the eye lands on the highlight phrase and the product shot first; everything else is framing. That makes text discipline the main lever on quality - a two- or three-word highlight keeps the card focused, while a long headline competes with the shot and the emphasis is lost. Announcement cards work when one phrase and one image carry the message alone.

Good uses

  • Launching a new product: an announcement card for social posts, a newsletter header, or a landing page hero, with the product screenshot as the shot.
  • Announcing a new feature: a 'What's new' card for release notes or a changelog, with the feature name as the highlight phrase and a shot of the new screen.
  • Keeping launch graphics consistent: a repeatable template so every product or feature announcement a team ships uses the same layout and colors.

Limits and checks

  • The highlight phrase only works short. A full sentence as the highlight turns the card into a wall of text and the emphasis disappears; if the announcement needs paragraphs, this format is not the right one.
  • The product shot is used as-is. The tool does not remove backgrounds, crop, or clean up screenshots, so a capture showing the browser toolbar, open menus, or blurry detail will look exactly like that in the card.
  • The result is a still graphic, not video or animation. If the announcement plan calls for motion - an animated gradient, a screen-recording teaser - make that elsewhere and use the card as the static poster.

Common questions

Does the tool write the announcement copy for me?

No. It arranges text and images you provide; it does not generate the headline or the supporting line. Write the announcement first - one short hook phrase and one optional sentence - then paste it in. The shorter the highlight phrase, the stronger the card.

Can I use it for something other than a product launch?

Anything product-shaped fits: a new feature, a version update, a changelog entry, a webinar or course with a slide as the product shot. Text-only material does not fit: quotes, long-form posts, and posters without a product image are better served elsewhere.
