A pattern-based idea generator: paste one seed keyword and it returns long-tail variations assembled from four template families - question stems (how, why, can), comparisons (vs, or), prepositions (for, with, without), and modifiers (best, cheap, 2026). It is a combinator, not a data source: it expands phrasing but reports no search volume, difficulty, or trend data, and it knows nothing about your niche beyond the seed you type. The common misstep is treating every generated phrase as a real query. Many combinations are grammatical yet never typed by anyone; only variants that mirror natural speech are worth taking to a research tool.

Each row is the seed inserted into a built-in frame - a question stem (how, when, can), a modifier (best, cheap, waterproof, current year), or a generic qualifier (for beginners, near me) - so every row derives from the seed alone. Comparison frames pair the seed with a comparison term you provide separately, which is why no 'vs' rows appear here.

Template families

The generator keeps four frame sets: question stems (how, what, why, when, can, do, how much, how long), modifiers (best, cheap, top, free, lightweight, current year), prepositional qualifiers (for, with, without, near), and comparison frames that pair the seed with a second term. Each frame inserts the seed verbatim and emits one phrase, so every row contains the seed's exact wording.

What comes back

Results are plain phrases with no attached data: no search volume, competition, trend, or difficulty figures. Because frames combine independently, near-duplicates and awkward constructions are routine - two question stems can produce the same intent, and some templates read unnaturally for a given seed. Deduplication and manual pruning are expected before the list is usable.

Good uses

  • Content planning: expand one niche topic into question keywords and mine them for article titles and FAQ sections that match real search intent - a 'yoga mats' seed yields 'how to clean a yoga mat' as a ready article idea.

Limits and checks

  • Grammatical does not mean searched. Every row is a mechanical template fill, and many are phrases nobody types. Volume data from a separate source is the only way to separate live queries from dead ones.
  • The output carries no metrics. It reports neither search volume nor difficulty, so treating the list as a prioritized plan misreads the tool; it is raw material for research, not a ranking strategy.
  • The seed's exact wording propagates everywhere. Typos, the singular-plural choice, and brand names appear in every generated row, so a misspelled or unrepresentative seed produces a whole list of useless phrases.

Does this tool tell me which keywords are worth targeting?

No. It generates phrasing only and reports no search volume, competition, or difficulty. Take the list to a keyword research tool that carries metrics before choosing targets. What this tool adds is breadth: question and comparison forms you would not have thought to type yourself.

Why are some results redundant or oddly worded?
