Seeing an older card after publishing a replacement does not necessarily mean the new image is wrong. Sharing services can retain previously fetched metadata and imagery, and this maker cannot clear or control those external caches.

Common questions

Will this card appear automatically when I share the page?

No. The tool prepares the image, but the webpage must expose that image through an og:image meta property using a URL the sharing service can retrieve. The service then decides how to construct its preview. A blocked crawler, inaccessible image, stale cache, or competing metadata can prevent the new card from appearing.

Does Open Graph require every preview image to be 1200x630?

No. The Open Graph protocol defines properties for identifying an image and describing details such as its URL, type, width, height, and alternative text, but it does not require this exact canvas size. This tool specifically targets 1200x630, so it is unsuitable when you need artwork generated at a different native dimension.
