What SaaS Pricing Page Builder does, with a checked example

You set the tier names, prices, feature lists, and an annual discount, and the tool renders a comparison page with a feature matrix and a billing toggle. Flipping the toggle recomputes every price on the page. The figure shown in annual mode is a per-month equivalent (the discounted yearly total divided by 12), not a separate monthly rate. The most common misreading is treating that discounted per-month number as a monthly payment plan: annual mode means one yearly charge, and the per-month figure exists for comparison only.

Worked example

A concrete input and expected output from the current implementation.

Input

Tiers: Starter $19/mo, Growth $49/mo, Scale $99/mo. Annual discount: 20%. Toggle set to annual.

Expected output

Starter $15.20/mo ($182.40/yr), Growth $39.20/mo ($470.40/yr), Scale $79.20/mo ($950.40/yr), with the same feature matrix under each tier.

A 20% annual discount multiplies each monthly rate by 0.8 to get the per-month equivalent, and the yearly total is that equivalent times 12: 49 x 0.8 = 39.20, and 39.20 x 12 = 470.40. The matrix rows are unchanged because the toggle only recomputes prices.

Billing toggle math

In monthly mode each tier shows the rate you entered. Flipping to annual mode applies the discount to every tier: the per-month equivalent is the rate times (1 minus discount), and the yearly total is that equivalent times 12. All figures update together, so the tiers stay internally consistent at a glance.

Tier and feature entry

The page is built from what you enter: tier names, prices, and the features assigned to each tier, arranged as a matrix with features as rows and tiers as columns. The tool lays out and previews exactly that data. It does not infer features, generate copy, or judge whether the tiers make sense together.

Good uses

  • Building the comparison table for a SaaS launch: define the tiers, assign each feature, enter prices, and preview the finished page before writing any HTML yourself.
  • Stress-testing an annual discount offer: enter the discount, flip the toggle, and confirm the per-month equivalents and yearly totals are the numbers you intend to publish.
  • Redesigning a live pricing page: re-enter your current tiers, try adding a tier or moving a feature between tiers, and preview the revised table before touching the production page.

Limits and checks

  • The discount math is simple percentage arithmetic, but displayed figures are rounded from exact totals: a $49.99 tier at 20% computes to 39.992/mo and 479.904/yr, which must round somewhere. Check what the tool displays before publishing prices.
  • The matrix is only as consistent as the features you assign. The tool will happily render a higher-priced tier missing a feature that a cheaper tier includes, so read the rendered table the way a prospect would.
  • Percent off is not months free: two months free on a 12-month term is a 16.67% discount (you pay 10 of 12 months), so verify which form the discount field expects and that the number you enter matches the offer you intend to run.

Common questions

Does the annual/monthly toggle change what my customers are actually billed?

No. The toggle recomputes displayed prices only: annual mode shows the discounted per-month equivalent and the yearly total. Nothing is billed, invoiced, or charged by the tool; it produces a page design and numbers. The real billing (one annual charge versus twelve monthly ones) is implemented in your payment processor, using the numbers you publish.

Can I trust the prices the tool shows as final?

The arithmetic is reliable: for the rates and discount you enter, the per-month equivalents and yearly totals are computed correctly. What the tool does not do is evaluate the pricing itself. Whether a tier's price covers your costs or fits your market is a business decision you still make, and the feature matrix is only as accurate as what you assign.
